Most of our products and equipments work in almost all meteorological conditions. This requires careful design, production and testing. Any device passes full scale test before shipping twice.
If you make or supply things with 'electric' in them they must comply with the EMC Directive. This is now law in all EU Countries, and the rest of the world is gradually following suit. To comply, the product must have a CE mark. In order to qualify for a CE mark, the responsible person within your organization must sign a Declaration of Conformity which states that the product complies with the appropriate EMC Standards. Generally this means testing the product to ensure that it really is compliant.
The standards cover two main areas, emissions (products should not cause interference) and immunity (products should not be susceptible to interference from other sources).
● Our products have been tested for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) against the Council Directive 1989/336/EEC of 3 May 1989 for electrical equipments that may produce or be affected by electromagnetic energy, amended by Council Directives:
- 1991/263/EEC of 29 April 1991
- 1992/31/EEC of 28 April 1992
- 1993/68/EEC of 22 July 1993
by DELTA Laboratories (accredited as EMC competent testing body under the Danish Accreditation Scheme – DANAK).
There were also tested against the following European Standards:
EN 55 022 radio interference from IT electronics (conducted and radiated)
EN 50 130-4 Alarms Systems, EMC tests for immunity (conducted RF, radiated RF, transients, burst, electrostatic discharge)
EN 50 130-5 Environmental tests for alarm systems (dry, cold, damp heat, corrosion, salt mist)
The products have got the CE mark.
The Declaration of Conformity (self certification reveals products with minimal risk).
The CE mark is placed on the product as the manufacturer’s visual identifier that the product meets the requirements of relevant European Directives.
● Our Intruder Alarm System has been classified to the highest security level (red) by the Danish insurance company SKAFOR, under the Danish regulations for professional alarm systems (known as AIA list – Forsikring & Pension). The Intruder Alarm System is also certified by the German VdS institution.
● Conlan ApS is certified by VdS for implementing a quality management system under ISO: 9001.
VdS Schadenverhutung is an independent, international, accredited and notified institution for electronic protection against intrusion. |
