CHARACTERISTICS |
| |
|
To use the finger in order to identify yourself or a function is to let the technology identify the unique pattern for a specific finger and locate the typical Minutia in this finger. The Minutia are the points where the pattern changes its character, actually where the lines split or convert. There will be identified coordinates and vectors for each Minutia. There can be recognized up to 50 Minutia. Normally, around 30 are recognized.
The Conlan Fingerprint Reader identifies the pattern by help of temperature detection. A sensor is able to measure in a pattern of up to 300 x 500 pixels. Out of those pixels there will be shown up to 50 Minutia representing a finger. |
