INTRODUCTION |

ParallelBox 2. The Parallel box is controlled by the keypads/readers working on the RS485 bus in a CT2000 system. Moreover, the parallel box can control the output and the LED settings on up to 16 keypads/readers synchronically. The Parallel box has one more input from e.g. a burglar alarm system to manage all the LED settings of the 16 possible keypads/readers. The Parallel box is used for synchronizing the access to a predefined area/room. The box is delivered pre-programmed to work as soon as being installed.

The Parallel box is approved as high security class:
- Delivered in a box for direct installing.
- Up to 16 keypads/readers per box. Some of the 16 keypads/readers which are synchronized by the box can be totally or partly managed as stand alone, even if they are a part of a group.
- Each unit's ID can be programmed in order to be or not to be an input for the group, or to be or not to be set together on the output.
- The LED settings can be programmed to be synchronized or to function separately.
- The PC program makes it easy to set up all parameters.
- 2 Relay outputs for different purposes (arming/disarming).
- Tamper switch incorporated. |

The Parallel box works together with all CT2000 units. All parameters are programmable by a PC in a DOS or Windows program. Output modes: Normal or Inverse for the relays. Outputs from group of codes/tags or the bell sign. Times for in- and outputs are all programmable. All the events going on in the parallel box can be logged or printed as a record of whoever did whatever. |
