INTRODUCTION |

The Door Control Unit is controlled by the keypads/readers working on the RS485 bus by means of a CT2000 system. The box is used for the access control system. Install the box and the door is controlled for authorized use. If the door is not closed or locked within a predefined time a buzzer will warn you and the alarm will go off. The box is delivered pre-programmed for working as soon as installed.

The box 485-T is approved as high security class:
- Delivered in a box for direct installing.
- Up to 2 Keypads/Readers per box. Normally 1 Keypad at the entrance and an exit button for leaving the secured area.
- 3 Inputs; Exit button. Door closed. Door locked.
- Each box has its own selectable ID.
- 3 Outputs; Relay output. Active for approved code/tag in the pre-defined time for that particular code/tag. Active for pressing the exit button in a pre-defined time. Transistor output for different purposes. The transistor can be active within a pre-defined time when the bell sign on the keypad is touched. Buzzer output is active for pre-warning and alarm signalling.

Box 485-T works together with all CT2000 units. All parameters are programmable by a PC in a DOS or Windows program. Output modes: Normal or Inverse for the relay as well as the transistor. Times for in- and outputs are all programmable. All the events taking place in the box 485-T can be logged or printed as the history for who did what at what time. Install a keypad, a box 485 and a log box, then you have an access control system. Install a computer or printer to log all events. Add up to 255 addresses in one system. |
